Based on some of the reaction to the news that http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=433&topic_id=586206&mesg_id=586206">the President is going to do a pre-Super Bowl interview with O'Reilly I'm not sure everyone saw or remembers the first one.

His promise to "sit down and talk with our enemies" was one of the very reasons I voted for him. This is just one example of that. ;)

4. Making the same mistakes over and over again...

...to ever diminishing returns is the problem I have with this. I mean we all so just how much wonderful press Fox gave him after this back then, right?

Same thing as the whole obsession he has with negotiating with Republicans. Sure, give it a shot. Hell, give it two shots. But when you keep doing the same thing, to fewer and fewer results at best and increasingly dangerous results at worst then I have a problem with it.

Again, as always he can do what he wants. He doesn't need my approval and he doesn't need my support. I wish him the best. Just don't ask me to think that this isn't a foolish idea.
