1. Actually, those responsible for the hateful atmosphere and violence are.....
......those with the money shadowing and making possible the likes of Faux News, Limb., Palin, etc. who sponsor these people and encourage and prompt these attitudes of intolerance.

I can only speak for myself as I cannot read the minds and discover true intentions of others.

A number of people here have expressed the opinion that they hate the war in Afghanistan, corporations, Republicans, President Obama's failure to try members of the Bush Administration for War Crimes and so on. Maybe they do hate the aforementioned. I do not know and I certainly wouldn't know if any of the above listed options influenced them in any way.
