Just imagine the ramifications this is going to have in the future |
|
Every politician, famous or not, at any level of politics, even the entry levels, is going to think twice about stepping out in public for a while, maybe for a long while.
I'll bet the hate spewing groups are really proud of themselves.

So let's get our asses out there and show the enemies of America that we are not the ones with which to fuck around with.

5. I'm sure you aren't speaking for your spouse or your children are you? |
|
Only a politician who is a fool would insist they aren't afraid for themselves or their family.

7. If my spouse were still alive, lunatica... |

...she'd tell you that she was the braver of the two of us. She survived stage IV ovarian cancer, an abusive ex-husband, and other things too fierce to mention here. She taught me much about standing up for what I believe in.
So think before you start playing that particular card, please.

6. Unfortunately, I don't think so. The right wing assholes will keep on spewing |

hate and inciting violence, and some nut will take them up on it, and then everybody wrings their hands, then we're back to American Idol and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and then it will happen again, etc. etc. etc.
It's the way of life in this country. Always has been. Always will be. The right wing assholes will NEVER be held accountable for their words. Or their actions.

9. I tend to be skeptical as well |
|
The nutjobs wanted to get Gifford out of the House and they pretty much succeeded. Based on early reports I've heard it will be months or years until she recovers. While she at some point may make it back to the House, she'll likely lose that seat in the next election which is exactly what the crazies wanted. Next week, everyone will have forgot about it and people will go back to putting targets on each other's backs. At least after 9/11 there was a few months of civility. I think anyone who expects civility from the right wing nutmob after this incident is naive.

the teabagging bastards and their hero Palin will have to tone down their violent rhetoric and that will NOT be easy for them - we won't be seeing their disgusting "NEXT TIME WE'LL BE ARMED" posters anytime soon
