They're rounding them up! Or starting too....
Jim McDermott (D) of Seattle---death threats. And yet...it's not the right wing. Drinking and talking out of your ass is not a pass out of a crime! No one can tell me that the guy below doesn't sound like a tea partier?! He doesn't want his 3 million dollars going to the banks.

Palm Springs man charged with threatening Congressman
A Palm Springs man is set to be arraigned in Riverside federal court this afternoon on federal charges that he threatened to kill a member of Congress.

Charles Turner Habermann, 32, is charged with one count of threatening a federal official in connection with voicemails he left for Seattle Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Seattle. If convicted of the one count, Habermann could face up to 10 years in prison.

Habermann also has been questioned about threats against an unnamed congresswoman and an unnamed California assembly member.

He was arrested Wednesday morning by FBI agents at his home in Palm Springs. Federal prosecutors have not filed any charges related to threats in California.

-------
According to the transcript of one call to McDermott's office, Habermann said, "He thinks he can steal money from people and give it away to losers and get away with it." It continues, "I'll (expletive) hunt that guy down and I'll (expletive) get rid of him."

In the other call, Habermann allegedly said, "If he ever (expletive) around with my money, ever the (expletive) again, I'll (expletive) kill him, OK."

One voicemail said the founding fathers would "blow his brains out." Habermann also called McDermott a piece of garbage.

"And I'll tell you right now garbage belongs in the trash and that's where he's gonna end up."

During an interview with the FBI at his home in Palm Springs, Habermann told authorities he had been drinking when he left the
voicemails.

Man arrested over threats to kill McDermott
Habermann said he never intended to actually harm McDermott, saying he had "too much to lose" — referring to a $3 million trust fund, according to the complaint.

In an interview Wednesday, McDermott said he'd reported Habermann's threats to law enforcement out of concern for his staff's safety.

2. I have never heard of "being drunk" as an excuse for wanting to kill someone.
And repeatedly doing so. He just lost the 3 million he didn't want to lose.

7. It's in Southern California.
It's where Washington and Oregon snowbirds live in the winter. It's also where old Republicans go to die. It's the land of Betty Ford and Mary Bono. Lots and lots of golf courses.

5. Use a touch of logic here...
...do you really think this 32 year old habitually drunk loudmouth ACTUALLY earned over 250K a year? I'd love some background info on this jackass.

9. I can't think of a single actual attacker on any President ever
announcing his/her intentions ahead of time. It is strictly bluster.

Lee Harvey Oswald did not announce, (JFK)
Samuel Byck did not, (Nixon)
Lynette Squeaky Fromme did not, (Ford)
Sara Jane Moore did not, (Ford)
Jon Hinckley Jr did not, (Reagan)
Frank Eugene Corder did not. (Clinton)

10. Of course, just because he sounds like a CON and says what CONs say
and targets a Liberal Congressman doesn't mean he's a CON or anything like that.

That makes sense in CON World.
