Mediatakeout.com: Photo of John Boehner looking smashed in a bar!!
Apparently, this was taken in a bar in D.C. Not looking good for the Speaker to be in some random bar. I guess all those rumors of him being a drunk are true!

3. As someone who has been known to tip a few myself, I am not going to
criticize him for that. A lot of politicians have been known to drink, including some good liberal Democrats. Boehner deserves a lot of criticism on a lot of issues, but this isn't one of them.

5. He's a crying drunk...that's the problem
He's also the Speaker. He's been rumored to have had a alcohol problem anyway. That's why he doesn't catch a break.

12. If this were a Democratic speaker with the same problem, would also not cut them some slack?
I really think that people are picking on him over this because he is a Republican and they don't like him anyway. Tip O'Neil drank. Would you also have criticized him for that? Heck Tip liked Miller Light so much he even appeared in a commercial for it.

14. If this were a Dem speaker ith the same problem, Hate Radio would
be discussing it 24/7.

So please take your tears for Boner over to Freeperville.

15. Just because right wing radio is not fair that doesn't mean that we should copy them.
I stated a fact. Lots of politicians on both sides of the isle have had drinking problems. This has got nothing to do with Freepers.

17. By all means. We should play by all of the rules, even though
we're getting our asses kicked. That's how we got to this point - kissing up and playing nice with sociopaths trying to kill us.

18. I'm taking my cue from the spirit of President Obama's SOTU speech tonight.
He was magnanimous and compromising. In fact, since he started compromising with the Republicans after the last election his poll numbers have skyrocketed. The American people are tired all of the partisan rancor. You might get a kick out of bashing Boehner, but in today's political climate, that is not what most Americans want. I disagree with your take on this. If we play by the rules it will be to our political advantage, not the other way around.

The American people will see soon enough that we are not like the Republicans. Contrast Obama's tone with Congressman Ryan's harsh partisan tone. Look for Obama's numbers to go up by at least five more points tomorrow.

4. OMG!
I can't believe that that MTO website actually made it to this one. That site exploits Black people more than any site I've ever seen in my life.

6. History is rich with stories of our drunken legislators & presidents over the years.
Some of the pranks Washington has seen over the years explains a lot about the mess we're in.

13. That's true. And some of them were Democrats. Having a drinking problem is not the exclusive purview
of either political party. So let's get off our high horse over this.

7. It's been known for years that Cryin' Johnny has been a drunk in DC
It's the DUIs he's been able to talk his way out of that are the real story... not him getting sussed in Georgetown...
