Wesley Snipes is in prison. Cheney and Rumsfeld are not.
Why?

Don't get me wrong, this isn't a TP "Don't pay your taxes!" rant, but I do question our judicial system: Snipes defrauded the government. He did not kill 4,500 Americans.

I gotta be honest with you: My 47-year-old ass wasn't even interested in politics till '04, when I licked envelopes and made phone calls for Kerry because another four years of Cheney's hand up Bushie's arse making him talk was a truly horrible thought. (I guess I could've done e-mailing, but I'm a Technoanderthal who has only recently accepted that "this Interwebz thing" MIGHT be here to stay.)

I'm not asking for charges against Dubya: He's just a pitiful puppet as far as I'm concerned. BUT, if prosecutors in the Ford Administration could go after Chuck Colson & Co, why can't this Administration prosecute the most obvious war criminals in over a century?

PS: This is the second topic my newb ass has started in as many days. If I'm being inappropriate, please let me know.

8. agreed,. all of them belong there. Wesley belongs where he is too,.
as for Wesley, he cheated on his taxes and earned prison. I don't mind when its earned. But when its earned -Bush cabal- and they don't get it, then get out the pitch forks now.

PS when someone cheats on their taxes, the rest of us pay for it. I don't mind paying for the poor but rich fuck ups? Not so much.

3. I'm asking for charges against Dubya.
He was a pitiful puppet with the ability to choose - he was, in fact, the self-proclaimed "decider." Having said that, your post is dead-on appropriate. Good to have you here!

5. So far I'm lovin' your newb ass!
I'm not going to get frustrated over you being a newcomer to political activism.

While we're at it, let's line up Justice Thomas for some sort of real justice for lying on his disclosure forms about the Mrs' income. I'd love to see impeachment proceedings, even if they cant remove him. I want to see his ass dragged through some shit over his lies.

14. All 535 congress critters should also be in jail
for giving Bush/Cheney the go ahead to take military action in Iraq.
Alright only those neo-cons who voted in favor. The rest are innocent.

16. Why? Because our government decided it would be better not to piss off neocons.
Bill Clinton made the same choice back in the day. Very sad.

And your newb ass is fine, IMO.

18. I truely believe it takes time to build evidence & a case
Murder trials in small states take a year to go to court. Think about all the emails & memos & money trails they have to prove. They need an army. It will come.

20. You have to have evidence of something that is a crime.
You also have to make sure that you can prosecute specific people on the basis of that crime.

Can you cite the relevant statutes that you consider violated? Or at least point in a specific direction?

You said "8 years", so, what crime did both commit for 8 years?

21. Hey,
Nixon got nailed on the charge (one of many) of lying to the American people. But fuck that! Cheney and Rumsfeld are clearly guilty of reckless endangerment resulting in death. 4,500+ counts.
