Palin Supports Shutdown, Defaulting on Debt.
Palin Tells Business Group Government Shutdown Would Fight Debt

Bloomberg: Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, weighing a presidential bid next year, said she opposes raising the U.S. debt ceiling and welcomes a government shutdown in the fight over federal spending.

Speaking to business executives and civic leaders in Woodbury, New York, Palin said her fellow Republicans shouldn’t be deterred by Democratic “scare tactics” over a possible government shutdown.

A shutdown would force President Barack Obama to work with Republicans, she said yesterday. “Not necessarily would that be a bad thing on either side.”

This loon is not going to get anywhere near a nomination, but I welcome her status as spokesperson for the Tea Party.

(BTW, Sorry if this is a dupe, Tell me, I'll scrub it.)

1. My biggest fear is Obama basically throwing in the towel and giving...
them anything they want.

I have no faith in him standing up to anyone anywere anytime.

7. That is our biggest problem now - he adopts their fake narratives...
...seemingly in a bid to preempt them, and ends up strengthening the narrative and emboldening the nutjobs.

I don't know if he does this unwittingly or because he really is on the side of corporate power, but it's unacceptable either way.

2. I don't get it.
For the life of me, I don't understand why this nut case has any voice at all. How do people find it admirable that she quit her job to go out and chase money? All she would do is quit the presidency when the going gets tough. God, this country is turning into the biggest conglomeration of idiots on the face of the earth.

4. Further proof that this woman would literally cause WWIII within days
if she was at the wheel.

She's the biggest fucking tool in the world.

6. I'm sure that, in terms of her simpleminded thinking, it makes sense...
She's unable to connect the dots in any meaningful way, like most who fall for right-wing rhetoric. I read that authoritarian people like Palin fail on those sections of standardized tests that use a series of logical steps to get to the answer - they just can't follow.
