An democratic president should not bow to a Japanese emperor
However, when a republican president puked all over a Japanese prime minister, what exactly did the "dick" say about that.

3. A Democrat should not join right wing nutbags propagating ridiculous poutrage.
This thread should get locked with the rest of them.

14. poutrage:
It's a portmanteau of "pout" and "outrage", indicating that somebody's outrage is equivalent to acting like a child, and pouting/making noise/stomping feet/throwing a tantrum in order to get attention.

6. I don't think you understood the OP
It is rhetorical....not the stated opinion of the poster...as is evidenced by the 2nd half of the post. Not jumping on your back...just stating my understanding of it.

8. You may need to add the Sarcasm icon
to your post.

For the ones who either just read the subject line or missed the point altogether.

It happens.

(And while there, can you change the An to A?...)

9. Got it, it just took a little longer than usual, which is really sad.
However, I am not sure the sarcasnm post would have helped, but next time I definetely will use it.

10. Just for clarity: An democratic president should not bow to a Japanese emperor
Edited on Thu Nov-19-09 05:42 AM by JTFrog
Is a shit statement.

One that has been spread around here as much as the right wing nutbags have been spreading it at freeperville. And threads stating such have been locked over the last few days as they should have been.

In my opinion, the rest of your post, pointing out they didn't act similar to the Republicans, didn't take away from your OP title at all. That probably accounts for the <0 rec's it got.

13. Well Mr. smarty pants, it actually got one rec,
unfortunately, it got unrecommended. I could speculate as to where that came from, but I really do not care. It is sad that you seem to have no other purpose on this board than to tear other people's posts down. I would suggest that you get a life, but you probably would not know what to do with it.

15. Well Mr. One Rec, speculation is hardly necessary here.
It got unrecommended because people got tired of hearing THE SHIT STATEMENT that was your OP.

Do you somehow find that explanation to be a personal attack against you? How does suggesting I "get a life" help you understand what happened here?

11. Dick hasn't mentioned Nixon bowing to the Emperor(?) of Japan who ordered the attack on Pearl arbor
Edited on Thu Nov-19-09 11:35 AM by Phx_Dem
either. Of course, we nuked them in return so I don't have a problem with it, but Dick should. Ditto for the Eisenhower bows (more than one).

12. As part of diplomatic protocol, Obama did the polite thing.
RWers don't think American leaders should have to be polite to anyone. Some of us beg to differ.
