What the fuck is the big deal of President Obama filling out an NCAA bracket |
|
Talk about an appropriate use of orange bang-head man, :banghead:
I think Obama filling out a bracket is a great thing...Many offices (including ours), most colleges, etc. fill out their brackets for this tournament....Aside from the Super Bowl, NCAA tournament is one of biggest sports events there is...If the last president was someone u could have a beer with, :puke: then Obama is certainly the president you can talk sports with....I think its great Obama does a bracket, it's not like he's attending games throughout the country, probably took all of 30 minutes to do a bracket and go on ESPN...
Newt Gingrich (one of the assholes blasting Obama for this) prefers to see black men in KKK recuritment videos as opposed to a basketball court...Fucking smug, fat prick Gingrich...

2. If it feels anything like watching Bush on a golf course with a set of clubs while I was thinking |
|
about the unjustified war in Iraq, I can understand.
Otherwise, they are just being themselves. They can find fault in Michelle Obama wearing a red dress. Don't be surprised when they decided the two children are old enough to take pot shots. (similar to me throwing stones at Sarah Palin's adult daughter...it happens!)

4. if they can name a president who worked any harder, I'd be interested in hearing it |
|
Most likely this was something he scribbled down a few minutes before going to bed (or Reggie Love did it for him).

6. My bet is on Reggie Love! |
|
My husband and probably every other man I know (yes, they're not the President, but whatever)look forward to doing this. It's a great distraction and I get a kick out of them having so much fun.

8. Yep. Said it in another thread: |
|
If he didn't fill out a bracket they'd call him unamerican.
Fuck 'em if they can't deal w/ it.

7. What disturbs me the most is why the double standard. Why is Obama asked to be at a higher standard |
|
than it was for bush or any other republican for that matter?
I have never seen so much venom directed toward a sitting president since I have started to vote, for issues that are NOT related to policy.
The only conclusion I have is that the country is going back to its racist roots with the cooperation of the MSM

They even use the same talking points now.
So sad, the smell of desperation from them is stinking up the place.

15. It doesn't matter what |
|
Obama does. If he wasn't in to sports at all, that would be an issue. If a Dem president buys a dog, it's mocked. The choice of where the kids go to school will be criticized. If he sneezed they will complain about it for hours on end. It's the same thing they did when Clinton was in office. The only thing that surprises me is that anyone (even right wingers) actually listens to them complain about that sort of crap. It's old and dull at this point.
