I hate Republican and tea party period
Republicans are nothing to do with Bush's War

Republicans blast to Obama's Libya War..

from CNN.com
Critics on Capitol Hill and elsewhere are angry over what they consider inadequate administration consultation with Congress before the start of the military mission over the weekend. They also continue to have questions over the conflict's cost and consequences as well as the U.S. endgame.

military resources were committed to war without clearly defining for the American people, the Congress, and our troops what the mission in Libya is and what America's role is in achieving that mission."
"In fact," Boehner said, "the limited, sometimes contradictory, case made to the American people by members of your administration has left some fundamental questions about our engagement unanswered."

Another key House Republican called for a withdrawal of U.S. forces Wednesday, arguing that Obama had failed to rally public support for military action.
"Mr. President, you have failed to state a clear and convincing explanation of the vital national interest at stake which demands our intervention in Libya," said Representative Candice Miller, R-Michigan. "You have failed to state a clearly defined mission for our military to defend that interest. ... I believe you must pull our forces from the coalition immediately."

"With all due respect, I can only conclude that your order to United States Armed Forces to attack the nation of Libya on March 19, 2011 is in direct violation of the War Powers Resolution and constitutes a usurpation of constitutional powers clearly and solely vested in the United States Congress and is accordingly unlawful and unconstitutional," McClintock's letter said.

blah blah blah blah

because of He is a black man, he is democratic, he born in Hawaii, not in Mainland America. blah blah blah..

4. Save the USA, Recall a Republican!
I've been wondering the same thing. They're making an awful lot of noise over war when they sent over 5000 American kids to wars of lies and deception and didn't even blink. You'd think they'd have the good sense to STFU since their crimes are BY FAR worse than anything the Dems or Obama could conjure up.

I don't know how Republicans have the audacity to investigate the Dems and make accusations of impropriety when they are well aware of the magnitude of their own 'real' criminal activities. They think they are above the law but I believe someday someone is going to hold them accountable.

Only the good die young so we have lots of time to prosecute all of the Republicans and baggers, even the fossilized ones.

5. Just like everything else
They never had any concern about spending and deficits when they ran the show, either. And, they were only concerned about the lack of jobs before they regained control of the House. Bunch of fucking hypocritical assholes.

7. I must have seen a dozen of these....
..."if X were different, how would you feel about Libya" questions posed over the last almost week or so. As for me, my response remains the same every time: it doesn't matter if you change X, because that will not magically tell us who in the hell it is we're fighting for over there. That is my tip-top opposition to this whole endeavor: we haven't the slightest clue just who these rebels are, what they want, what they stand for, or anything else. Their sole redeeming quality, from everything I can see, is that they're not Qaddafi. And that, AFAIC, just is not a good enough reason to put our people in harm's way.

If we had a clear, coherent picture of some bunch of folks who want a Western-style democracy in Libya (or Egypt, or Somalia, or Tunisia....), then I would support getting behind them if they needed help affecting that change in their country. But we don't have that. We have the Muslim Brotherhood, basically a subsidiary of al-Qaeda, whom we have managed to talk into power in Egypt (possibly, but I'm laying odds that some MB candidate will wind up being the one who wins in elections), and we have a bunch of rebels in Libya about whom we know pretty much nothing, other than: a.) they come from the region of Libya best known for sending al-Qaeda mercenaries into Iraq, and; b.) al-Qaeda has thrown their support behind these folks.

Now, if someone can tell me why on earth we should be supporting that, I'm all ears, but unless and until that happens, I'm going to continue to say that this was just a bad fucking idea from the start.
