Making America a RIGHT TO WORK COUNTRY! |
|
More and More States stirring the pot and challenging Unions. Even states like Tennessee which has some companies with Unions but one does not consider Tenn. a Union State.
Staggering from the fights in Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan one could pause and ask, just what in the heck is going on.
Here goes. Over the last couple of decades where has most job growth (USA) occurred??? If you say the Sunbelt, South or Texas, you are correct. Because of the Right to Work Laws and Practices in those states, the states have become known as business friendly. Cheap Labor, Little or NO REGULATIONS on Business, Extremely low taxes. A Business or Corporate Dream.
As a result Jobs not sent overseas by Republican Free Trade policies have very often been relocated to the South and South West.
The Republicans Cometh: They look at these facts and say we must become competitive. Get rid of Unions, high wages high taxes and we can compete to bring the jobs to our states.
This is all well and good. My Friends check out the quality of life stats in Right To Work Business Friendly Stats. Highest Levels of Poverty, Lag in Education, Little to No Health Care unless you are upper income (even children).
Yep, they are out to make America a Right to Work Country. Their Dream of Aristocracy and Corporatocrasy will have been achieved.

2. Until you realize that it really means "right to force you to work." |
|
It means systemic poverty.
It means government partnering with business in organized class warfare against people, while people are preemptively disarmed and forcibly disorganized.
It means people forced to work for the lowest possible pay, with the no rights, no benefits, and no recourse.
And no safety net. Because the partnership between business and government guarantees that the safety-net gets dismantled. Any and all money in government goes to services that benefit business, or go directly to the businesses themselves.
"Right to work" has nothing to do with people having any kind of right at all. It's a "right" the same way that you have a right to die quietly at home if you ever get sick, instead of getting health care.

3. They always coin something that is awful to sound good. Like Patriot Act |
|
which violates the constitution.

4. There is one good thing about "right to work" from my standpoint as |
|
the owner of a teensy weensy business: I don't need all sorts of paperwork and attorney bills to fire a worthless employee.
