What you call 'censorship' I call 'a problem with authority that extends to an inability to follow posted rules.' Nobody's trying to 'censor' you on DU; you can spout hibbity-jibbity any time you like...just not here. Why in pluperfect hell should those of us who work to get Democratic candidates elected to public office have to wade through a quagmire of negativity?

If you're so certain about getting banned, whose fault is that? Are you condemning the admins/mods at DU, who are the only people with that authority? Yourself? Problems with impulsivity? Inability to comprehend written rules? Is it a foregone conclusion on your part that you're unable to spit your vitriol in a socially-accpetable manner? Just make sure you have considered all the angles before you piss & moan about the certainty of your banishment from this community. When you point the finger of blame, there are three fingers pointing right back atcha.

Another ASSumption on your part: that anyone here takes pleasure at the banishment of a self-proclaimed 'progressive.' I just find it sad, that's all - sad that a self-proclaimed 'progressive' would see fit to spend time online editorializing about how fucked-up are efforts to re-elect the Democratic president. It just seems to me that a self-proclaimed 'progressive' could find better ways to while away the hours than working against the re-election of Barack Obama.
