I am not just a blind follower of my President even though some do think that about me but I really don't give a damn about what people say especially those who are hell bent to destroy him. The facts are irrefutable for why I support my Democratic President. I classify myself as a well informed pragmatist progressive/liberal who is results oriented. To that effect, look no further than what President Obama and the Democratic Congress have accomplished in the last two years. After all, progressive means to make progress and there is no better person to lead America to progress than President Obama if you look at what he has accomplished to date.

So, yesterday I gave my first $100 to the Obama 2012 campaign in support of the President's vision for America and for his accomplished to date. I am committed and plan to actively do my part in support of the 2012 "yes we can" campaign.

This President has done so much of what he had promised quietly in a very short time while so many chastise, belittle, undermine and disrespect him from day one with the intent of ensuring his Presidency is a failed Presidency. However, we never see him taking his eyes of off his target (the people), taking the high road and focusing on the issues at hand...

I'm just "all done" now.

Cozying up to Wall Street and ensuring that they continue their pillaging; bowing to the
health-insurance industry; allowing BP to ride off into the sunset unaccountable; failing
to close Guantanamo; failing on the reistating of Habeas Corpus (which he promised me that
he would do); continuing torture.

Those are a few of my least favorite things.

And they're all happening under Mr. Hope and Change. I can't believe they have the gall
to call it the "2012 'yes we can'" campaign. The campaign needs a branding manager, because
that slogan bleeds broken promises and is a smack-in-the-face reminder to many that they
were duped.

I'd like to know what credibility these reformers think they would have if they publicly admit we made a mistake in 2008, and the country should trust us this time. They'll have to ask the Republicans to play fair and not mention that we "failed" and give us a clean slate to work with. ...Good luck there.

Even worse, these people will have to convince every Democrat and Independent to join them in replacing Obama with their new choice to avoid a split ticket and an easy Republican landslide. Even a primary challenge will be seen as weakness and discontent within the party that will surely be exploited by the opposition and push voters to the party that appears to have a steady and sure hand on the helm.

I really don't want another eight years of a Republican White House, but some seem more than willing to risk it because Obama didn't bend over and kiss their asses on both sides. This is exactly the trademark of the extremists in the Tea Party, and they've caused a similar rift in the GOP.

I'm sick of these 'what can we do for the President' topics.

Starting in 2006 I worked my fingers raw working online for Obama. For 2 years I contributed money I really didn't have and went without.

I'm sorry people, but I'm not seeing an administration which has done much to help the working class people who keep falling behind. With Obama the compromises came early and we got the shaft. Health care was the most important issue for me personally. What Obama and his merry band did was institutionalise the for profit exploitive system America has which no other developed nation will put up with.

How about the violence of continual wars? The expense?
