Dear Speaker Boehner: Who's responsible for the 'Drivers of Our Debt?'
(George W. Bush and your Republican party, that's who.)

Boehner: Next fight to be about trillions, not billions

The budget by Chairman Ryan has set the bar. If the president is willing to follow our lead and offer serious proposals that address the drivers of our debt and the barriers that are holding back our economy, we'll welcome it, and we're open to hearing them.

1. Please remember that Bush tax cuts include cuts for the middle class.
This is the best rationale why ALL bush cuts must be rescinded.

3. Please remember Ryan's proposal includes even greater tax cuts for the Rich
He wants to lower the rate on the rich from from 35% to 25%
He wants to lower corporate taxes from 35% to 25%

While it is Middle class needs tax relief, they are the ones that buy stuff, and buying stuff helps the economy.

Rep. Paul Ryan's Budget: Lots Of Tax Cuts For The Rich, Not Many Jobs

10. His plan isn't going to pass the Senate.
But the rescinding of the Bush/Obama tax cuts don't need to be passed by anyone.

4. They intentionally drove this failure. Now we are so broke we
must get rid of entitlements. This was their plan.

Remember even under Clinton, they gutted Welfare
and since Clinton signed it. This made it approved
by the Democratic Party. Nafta, likewise, Deregulation
of banks, Clinton signed --this makes big changes
acceptable to the Democratic Party. The GOP can
call it bipartisan.

Now that we are broke, the social safety net is the
bullseye. To make it seem authentic and acceptable
need Obama to sign. There is a method to the GOP
driving the country into oblivion. So broke must
"reform". Reform means something very different to
Republicans than Democrats.

As usual Democratic Activists will excuse their President.
We have a RW Government which was the GOP plan all
along. When you have movement politics you never
take your eye off the ball. Gives the GOP credit.

5. Under Obama ... continuation of Iraq, Afghanistan, involvement in Libya ...
however ...

11/4/2008, John McCain wins, Sarah Palin VP ...

More troops in Iraq, Afghanistan forgotten (but still a military presence), media not reporting numbers killed so often (because that would be unpatriotic), no "birther" movement questioning his qualification to be called a U.S. citizen by "natural born" ...

along with all-out war with Iran, we would already have had troops in Libya, and the uprising in Egypt would have been quelled with U.S. arms and troops supporting the regime ...

Not sure what else we'd be into ...

6. WHY DO REPUBLICAN ECONOMIC PRINCIPLES EXPAND THE NATIONAL DEBT?
-The answer is simple mathematics. Reduced revenue + increased spending ='s increased debt-

?

?

The two biggest promises of "Trickle Down Economics" are it's greatest failings. Proponents of "Trickle Down Economics” claim that tax cuts, skewed to the rich, will create jobs and increase tax revenues. The graph above disproves the latter claim. Job creation plummets under "Trickle Down Economics (see http://bureaucountydems.blogspot.com/p/job-growth.html )and nine of the last ten recessions have occurred under Republican leadership (see http://bureaucountydems.blogspot.com/p/history-of-recessions.html ).

Two things are certain to grow when a Republican is in the White House, unemployment and the National Debt.

By contrast, "Bubble Up" economnic priciples practiced by Democratic Administrations put people to work, rev up the economy, and balance the Nation's ledger books. Every time. No exceptions.

There Is Perhaps No Better Source Than The Following Video To Understand How Credit Card Republicanism Has EXPLODED the National Debt. Watch it. Forward it. Spread the word. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1bZ-TiX8rA

9. They can no longer be called the Bush Tax Cuts
They are now the Obama tax cuts for the wealthy, signed by President Obama.
