Government by People Who Hate You
"House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan put out a budget proposal last week that will leave the vast majority of future retirees without decent health care by ending Medicare as we know it. According to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) analysis, most middle-income retirees would have to pay almost half of their income to purchase a Medicare equivalent insurance package by 2030. They would be paying much more than half of their income in later years.

"This sort of broadside against the living standards of the middle class might have been expected to draw an outraged response in a nation that exalts the lifestyle and values of the middle class. Instead, the punditry rallied around Mr. Ryan's plan to deal with the problem of runaway entitlement spending, crediting it for being "serious" even if they did not embrace all the details."

(And not just the punditry)

Are you pissed off enough to join the class war!?!?!?

1. ANYONE who thinks "government is the problem" should NEVER
be given the keys.

2. Ask a Republican if they would say that on a job interview for a private industry job...
Edited on Mon Apr-11-11 07:17 PM by cascadiance
Do they think that they would have a chance in HELL getting hired if in an interview they were to say something like:

"Company X IS the problem!"

when they are interviewing to work at Company X?

That's in effect what these BASTARDS are doing, because Republicans are trained to reject those that serve them in government! Sooner or later when you ask for that you bums, they WILL "take away your Medicare", even if you've been brainwashed into thinking that government is there to "attack" it!

3. What are you suggesting?! Do you know a progressive in Paul Ryan's district who can win?
Any in the other Republican congressmen running for office in 2012? I think when we get the ground work organized we can start fighting a war. But when we don't even have some of the high artillery to replace the fool who's promoting annihilation of a middle class---we got nothing.

7. That's the bloody problem. But that's the ONLY way to fight the war.
I don't get the OP's post because if we're going to do this war. You need to have some backup. I'm not following the Republican trend of getting myself "locked and loaded." We do this the democratic way. But if we don't know the progressive people who are running for office in each district of crazies well we got nothing. And the OP is just then blowing hot air.
