Surely....surely his sentiments as he outlined in his books are not all that far-fetched...what I suspect that he didn't count on was how he had to maybe "temporarily" cow-tower to the big business....temporarily - otherwise - he just wouldn't stand a slight chance for 2012...and THAT my friends....is the cold:

It just IS what it fricking IS....and the sooner we get on board with this and shatter any vestiges of illusions that the 'real' political world doesn't quite work in the ways in which we would like or ASSUME that it should....the sooner we can see these dynamics for EXACTLY what they are and get back on board for supporting one of the greatest minds and Presidents to come down the pike...well since....I can't remember when!!!

I would suspect that the reason he had appointed long-standing Biden (as well as others - including partisan folks to his cabinet) to begin with was to act as maybe a long-term 'sounding board', if you will.

That he actually knew ahead of time that he needed to surround himself with a learning curve into all this Washington mess...To learn what he could about all of these........political dynamics.

To kind of - get the scoop - you know?

Yup. Wouldn't be surprised in the least if our Prez listened to this as a quick shot of inspiration every, single day!!!!!! Not so much as a lover gone - but in a much larger context - right?
