2. Problem is ...
... that the Repuglicans could run all of the toss-up states.

Counting chickens before they hatch in this political environment is dangerous.

3. All he has to do is win in the "toss-up state" of FL, and with the Rs running on the Ryan plan,
Edited on Fri Apr-22-11 06:54 PM by jenmito

6. This isn't much of a projection, Sabato just used Gore and Kerry's results as a baseline

7. Sabato: "This is merely a baseline.....
...from which we can judge more reliable projections made closer to the election."

Means nothing.

9. I'm not worried about Obama
my sole concern is winning back Congress and maintain the Senate, that's the only way we can get things done.

We need a super majority in both the House ad the Senate.

13. Obama's and the Dem's big advantage is that they pretty much have a guaranteed large block of..
electoral votes from some big solid blue states.. ie CA, NY, IL. However, there are some questions now about those big lighter blue states like PA, MI, WI. I still thinks he wins relatively easily depending on who the GOPer candidate.. but we can never take anything for granted considering media bias, the cut-throat nature of the opposition, and ignorance of the general public.
