Ron Paul announces possible Republican 2012 presidential bid
Long-time Texas politician and Tea Party favourite has made a key step on the official route to the White House

Ron Paul, a libertarian-leaning Republican congressman beloved of many Tea Party supporters, has announced he is exploring a 2012 presidential bid.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/apr/27/republican-ron-paul-presidential-bid

The Congressman with two first name is going to run again, yeaahhhh!!! Now the the downtrodden faithful down at Stormfront have something to hope for. Who stands better for libertarian freedom except when it comes to a woman's right to choose? And who can match his brave stand against wasteful earmarks except when they're for his home district?

1. I was reading the comments at Huffy Poo's story
People claim that President Obama's supporters believe him to be "The Messiah". Obama supporters ain't got nuthin' on Ron Paul groupies. St. Ronnie of Texas can do no wrong in their eyes. And, anyone who doesn't agree with them that Paul is God's Gift to America, is either stupid or ignorant. It' one big cult.

6. isn it a crime to
profit off campaign donations? Plus with all his books sold and gold prices going up, I dont think he is the type that would trick his supporters into paying his bills. Say what you will about Ron Paul but if he was doing this for profit, he would have sold out to the Koch brothers long time ago, heck hes libertarian and the Koch's claim to be libertarians too.

I hope he wins the republican nomination, I am rooting for him

11. Rooting for him?
The guy who scores a 0 with NARAL?
The guy who voted against feeding hungry children and then a week later voted to give his billionaire buddies tax breaks?
The guy who opposes the Civil Rights Act and thinks businesses should be allowed to put up "No Blacks Allowed" signs?
The guy who wants to get rid of all government except the military?

That guy?

That's what you're rooting for?
