Obama: "I've got better stuff to do, we've got better stuff to do." |
|
Did the Press get a clue? No...because there were questions on the Republican leaders.
And he was right---Tweety is one of the major ones to blame for this on MSNBC. There are far bigger issues going on and yet the Press has helped Trump in orchestrating, giving a platform to de-legitimize the President.
Most of us just laughed this thing off--as though it would die down. 2.5 years doesn't mean it would go anywhere, any time soon if it was brought up. I, myself, am annoyed by the release, but at the same time, hearing what the President just said, he's right.
People didn't hear what was going on with the budget. The People's Budget put forth by the Progressive caucus in the House has been shut out of any political discussion EXCEPT by Rachel Maddow---for shit like this. Tweety has yet to have anyone who formed that bill to even be a guest on his show to promote it.
Instead he has clowns talking day after day about this birth certificate and people who believed it. And this will continue. There are those who think this is a fake.
I personally think that these idiots managed to force the hand of the President. <---However there is a specific reason why. We have the Press more interested in this, more interested in the carnival show than they are in the politics that plague our lives and we have the President--forced to steer the course of the conversation that should have been monitored by the Press.
What I loved about his Press Conference about the ridiculousness of this issue. Is the fact that he berated the Press. He he treated them as children, instigators of stupidity and he is right. He's also telling them, that they are helping the noise than doing their job which is to help inform the American people.
Will they get a clue? no, because I think the Press is like the extreme right who hate Obama---drama wins all.

1. Whether they get a clue or not, the President said "I'm done with this shit" as tactfully |
|
as he could have. If they couldn't read that between the lines, that's their problem.

Unless Obama changes his skin color, they will continue to raise questions about his legitimacy.

4. I'm betting that Tweety will spend his entire show talking about Trump. He will have missed Obama's |
|
message completely. Bzzzzz - right over Tweety's head.

5. I think about the McClurkin events, the made up slanders of |
|
that whole lot against gay people. Obama sure had a hell of a different take at the time. He said it was fine to make things up about others and say them on TV and on stage, his surrogate had called us vampires and child killers, and he said that was acceptable to him, the surrogate would remain at the table, speaking for good people, that is what he said. Suddenly no time for clown shows. Suddenly it is wrong to make up lies about others and propagate them from a place of power. I sure hope the man, his wife, and the administration has learned not to engage slander mongers in the future. We all have better things to do than listen to lies and gossip.
