The media backlash begins against Donald "Carnival Barker" Trump
Martin Bashir just led his show off with this teaser: "Calling out the Carnival Barker. President Obama says "enough is enough.'"

Throughout the day, the press has been repeating the President's "sideshow and carnival barker" line.

I think that Trump is now going to be forever labeled a carnival barker - not something even the most craven publicity hound wants to be tagged with.

Well-played, Mr. President.

3. Mock them - never stop mocking them
That's the way to handle small-minded simpletons.

5. I'll wait and see
It has to spread beyond MSNBC to count as a full fledged media backlash.

11. Hmm. You may have a point.
Carnival barkers at least subscribe to some sort of ethical standards, however low; whereas Trump has none whatsoever.

10. And we all know that the guilty dog barks the loudest too.
Trump has been caught in a lie, so now he barks even louder.
