So Seth Meyers to host tomorrow's White House Correspondent's Dinner...
He's pretty good on Weekend Update, right? I've only caught some of SNL the past few years, so I'm not fully aware of his comedy. He's got to be better than Jay Leno, though.

Still think they should get Wanda Sykes to do it again.

4. But he's not going to play it safe, right?
I know he's an Obama supporter - so I'm hoping he comes guns a blazing like Wanda did two years ago.

6. He is pretty good...
but Weekend Update was much better when he had Amy Poehler working with him. But I think he has turned a little bit on Obama with his comedy. The only thing I care about is if Obama ignores Trump-don't make any jokes about him. He'll brag about it.

13. I don't know why the heck Trump will be there but I heard his
his wife bragging about how they we're going to be there when she was on QVC hawking her costume jewelry line. :puke:

8. I'd love to see Chris Rock do it....Or Lewis Black.
Chris Rock probably drive all those DC stuffed shirts right out of the building.

And a good Lewis Black rant would make them hang their heads in shame.

9. I think after Wanda Sykes in 2009, they'll be careful who they bring in...
Even though she was amazing.

10. Do you think Wanda Sykes was hard on Obama?
I think she was hilarious, but mostly for joking about Limbaugh and other RWers.

11. No...that's not what I meant...
I think she was very pro-Obama. I meant some of her jokes were pretty shocking, at least compared to past MCs.

When I said they're going to be careful with who they bring in, I mean someone more subdued - like a Jay Leno.

12. Oh...
I agree. Leno was the WORST! I doubt Seth will be as shocking as Wanda, but he IS clever. I don't think he'll be as pro-Obama as she was, since he's a writer of SNL, they've been pretty hard on him from the left.

14. Conan!
It'd be nice to see him do comedy in front of intelligent people again. You know, like his New York audiences, NOT his L.A. crowds.
