Why on earth would we want to #dumptrump?????

He's a dream candidate for us.

The best thing that could happen to Democrats and to President Obama is for Trump to

A) run as an Independent

B) win the GOP nomination

If it is A, then Obama will win in 2012 with about a 40 state landslide

If it is B, then Obama will win in 2012 with about a 30-35 state landslide

The last thing we, as Democrats, should want to do is to "Dump Trump".

I *WANT* him to be the face of the GOP.

1. He remains the face of the GOP and the birther movement
without the advertisers, therefore cut off his money supply.

I am happy to be supporting #DumpTrump.

2. Lord knows that we should want Trump as a 3rd party candidate
because he would at a minimum siphon off 10% of the Republican vote.

3. First....he'll never run.
He'll never disclose his tax returns. Still, I don't know why people here are always thinking that running against a nutcase is a sure win for us. We did that already...Palin...and she came way to close to winning. Never underestimate the stupidity of the republican voter. Also don't underestimate their desire to have a white president. They will vote for Carrot Top if it meant Obama being gone.

Second...dump Trump is not about the election...it's too get the sponsors of the apprentice to pull out.

If the media, big corporations like Pepsi all ignore his racism...then we have sunk to a new low as a country.

4. That sounds great.
But Trump is not being paid to run for office. He's being paid to make the eventual GOP nomination seem, somehow, a little less batshit insane. Ca-ching!

6. That's right....
He makes the GOP candidate look normal and reasonable to the repubs. The teabaggers will vote repub because he'll be white.

Getting him off the air is a matter of principles not politics. No one should be allowed to spew such hatred on our airwaves.
