As an African American, I can truly say I hate sites geared for my race only. How can I expect anyone to treat me fairly if all I do is go to a segregated space? I like visiting DU. There is no seperation here and many other websites that I visit.

I see nothing wrong with going to a site that presents the news in a manner that is not readily apparent to an all-white newsroom. Our racial experiences do color the way we see the world and it's nice to see a viewpoint similar to mine once in a while. :-)
