How will the republican "debaters" answer the birther question? They will surely get that question. |
|
Teabaggers and the rest of the base will be waiting and it won't be good for them. "Well, I don't know where he was born, he says it was Hawaii, but we don't know for sure....blah blah"

12. I think a few of the candidates will say that |
|
The smart ones will say yes and put the issue to rest.

4. I don't think that question will come up any more.... |
|
I'm pretty sure most Republican candidates, indeed most conservatives and teabaggers, have long since moved past that. Yes, there are some absolute crazies on the right that still buy into this stuff, but they are rarely given a platform to push their insanity these days.
If the question is asked you can bet the answer from all of them will be, "Yes, President Obama was born in Hawaii, yes he is a citizen and yes if he says he's a christian we take him at his word". Even most teabaggers are sane enough to know that Obama killed off that particular dopey conspiracy theory with the release of his long form birth certificate. It's over now.

6. There they go again. He is one of the favorites and won the last "debate", I believe. |

7. He really didn't. Ron Paul won that debate, but Frank Luntz did his handy work. |
|
Republicans only like Herman Cain so that they can use him to shield themselves against accusations of racism. There's no way in hell Cain will win anything. That party is too bigoted. Cain can co-opt any bigoted Republican talking point he wants and run with it. They still won't support him for president.

8. After ABC/Stephanopoulos asked Obama in the last primary debate: |
|
"Does Rev Wright love America as much as you do?" -- apparently anything goes.
I'm looking forward to the GOP contenders raising their hands in support of torture, against climate change, and for creationism being taught in public schools.
