1. Ask Kay Bailey just what a push over Rick Perry was. |
|
Don't fool yourself. Perry can beat Pres. Obama.

The idiot who wants Texas to secede from the rest if the country? Yeah that's going to go over great with all the "morons" like the tea party, but anyone with and ounce of sense is not going to buy into this idiots BS! It just isn't going to happen, at least not on this planet!

14. Why is Perry a threat? |
|
1) Money. His fat cat big bidness types will fund him to the hilt 2) He looks like a reasonable guy (and Americans like good looking politicians in spite of nutty or mean political beliefs) 3) He can deliver a speech or appear in a debate and stay on message with minimal flubs
He is a master at taking credit for things he does not deserve credit for. Conversely, he can feign no involvement for messes he has beem a big part of.
The secession comments? He will laugh them off with a smile and a wink and the media and most voters will let him walk.

12. No way that secessionist Perry could be elected nationally. |
|
He has more skeletons in his closet than people realize. Ask the family of Cameron Todd Willingham. That's just one of a long list of disqualifiers.
And Kay Bailey Hutchison would fare much better in a national election than Good Hair. He has West Texas in his back pocket and those people would vote for him if he were found with the proverbial "dead woman or live boy."
And the chances of the United States of America voting for another Republican governor of Texas in this century? Ha!

18. It doesn't follow that Perry can beat Obama because he beat Kay Hutchison. |
|
What happens in a statehouse race in Texas is not very predictive of what will happen in a national race with an incumbent President.

6. Prediction, Perry Will Be the Republican Nominee if... |
|
Edited on Tue Jun-14-11 05:06 PM by locahungaria
some other fruitcake like Michelle Bachmann doesn't get it. Why? Because then Obama can beat him like a drum. I've already seen some posts on other websites saying Be Afraid of Governor Good-Hair Perry(as Jim Hightower calls him. Love Jim Hightower).
Why? Obama has yet to do anything that Wall Street doesn't like. They're doing great. I think they want to see Obama get re-elected. Romney's actually a potential threat. He's old money. If he gets in, he may, MAY as in a very small chance but still a chance, go FDR on them to save his own class. Can't risk that. Better stick with old reliable O.
