What is up with the media and Huntsman? They love this guy |
|
This guying is boring as hell. Mitch Daniels and Tim Pawlenty are lively compared to him.

1. He's just the flavor du jour. |
|
I heard some grumbling on the morning shows about his being too nice, blah blah blah. Some columnist wrote that he was "headed for oblivion". Might have been Dana Milbanks. Not interesting enough to search for, though.
By tomorrow they will all start piling on.

3. They're desperate and in panic mode over the mediocrity of their candidates |
|
Remember Fred Thompson? Remember how excited tweety got over the fact that he was running? Remember what a BFD he was until he opened his mouth and revealed that he was an idiot?
It's deja vu all over again with a new cast of characters.

4. Obama sent him to China. |
|
In their minds, that means a little bit of Obama rubbed off on him, and he will therefore be able to pull Dems and Independents away from Obama - which few to none of the other usual suspects have any hope of doing.

self reliance bullshit. His policies would lead to a violent revolution in this country.
We'd all be pretty self reliant if we had billionaire dads like that bastard.

he seems to be a genuine gentleman. That in itself is a novelty.

12. But .. Wolf Blitzer said he was almost a rock star and rode a motorcycle |
|
He spoke of how he was not like the normal Republican nominee. They don't drop out of high school because they want to play keyboard for a rock band. He neglected to say that this is easier to contemplate if your father is a multimillionaire!
Not to mention, I don't recall Blitzer in similar rapture speaking of a Democratic nominee who played base guitar in a high school band (who stayed in school), who rides motorcycles - and flies airplanes too. In his case, it was mentioned that he was from a wealthy Boston Brahmin family.

13. To think in the 80's and 90's |
|
I used to watch Wolf. Now he is just a joke. Now the ONLY time I watch him is if he's on The Daily Show with some far out comment on his show.

15. I had his show on yesterday while I was cooking because the TV I have in the |
|
kitchen doesn't have a cable box - so no MSNBC. I watched more of it than I wanted, because I was making stuffed grape leaves for about the third time and am very incompetent and slow - and my hands were too messy to touch the remote.

who could be a real challenge to Obama or someone they can make the whole U.S. think so because obviously they have nothing else of value to talk about 24/7.
