Defending the indefensible...
Edited on Fri Jun-24-11 11:58 PM by Drunken Irishman
That should be the slogan for Yahoo's comments section.

If you want your blood to boil, read any article on racism, gays, Obama or Democrats - you'll lose a lot of faith in your fellow man.

It makes you wonder how we've even made it this far.

1. Some sites manage to attract that sort.
YouTube, also, seems to be commented on solely by 14 year old boys with IQs below 75.

2. YouTube used to allow you to hide comments to every video...

And if you wanted to view 'em, you could manually do it.

Now, though, the comments are in plain view - which makes it impossible to miss what the first couple people are saying.

3. Too many right wingers (of the especially nasty sort)...
are leaving their droppings all over the internets. It's hard to escape, even if you go to the celebrity gossip sites. They find someway to worm blame for Obama and libruls for all their woes wherever they squat and take a dump.

4. There was an article on Yahoo about the government's concern about militias in Montana...
Due to David Burgert, a militia member who opened fire on Montana police.

The guy is dangerous. There is credible evidence to suggest anti-government groups are popping up all over the area. They're dangerous.

Every post in the comments section was about how patriotic these people were and that the government was more of a danger than these men - who were just conservative, American lovin' folk wanting a simpler government.

Not one post about the fact this guy opened fire on police and is walking around the area armed and dangerous. Nope, he's a patriot.

:banghead:

8. To a modern day Rethug needing to have a dump
is the fault of librul science. I told a right wing troll from Chicago that the President opposes suicide. He disappeared from his own blog and from trolling me.

I may try that more often.

5. Make a jerk anonymous, and they let all sorts of horrible shit out.
Those are the same people who will spin their head around before sharing their latest blonde/black/gay "jokes".

Blood boil? Really?

Not worth my time nor my energy to get all worked up over.

is a teeny bit better than on those comment sections of stories. There's actually people here I respect.

10. "It makes you wonder how we've even made it this far. " My guess: sheer luck. I wonder how long
this luck will hold out.

11. I feel the same way
It's a constant bashing of anything President Obama does. But also the racists come full out on any of those articles about the President.
