So in light of his lifting the fracking ban should Cuomo still primary Obama or. . .
. . .has he come down to earth yet?

First and foremost, this shouldn't be a situation where we pit Obama v. Cuomo, this should be a situation and we learn that no politician is perfect and that many will make decisions we like and decision we don't like.

2. Were there calls for a Cuomo run from anyone familiar with his record?
Some of us, while not expecting a serious primary contest, said that we would be happy to support a challenge to Obama from the left.

On every issue that I can think of except marriage equality, Cuomo has been to Obama's right. It's not as if support for fracking would be a sudden departure for him. It's more like the marriage bill was the departure from a record that's otherwise been conservative.
