Not only is the debt ceiling deal that was reached devastating to working families, but it makes it more likely Congress will spend another four months focused on budget-cutting instead of on jobs and investment in the future.

We can’t let that happen. So we’re demanding elected leaders from both parties—and the media—recognize that the American people are struggling to keep their heads above water and start addressing the jobs crisis.
