1. The stock market is doing fine? It fell 1000 points in 5 days.
I would hesitate to make the dead cat bounce of the DJI as proof of anything right now. It could easily come back to bite you.

2. I think there might be something to that.
Anyone with half a brain knows that the debt ceiling crisis that the GOP created, caused the market to crash.

Further, its pretty clear that the GOP is willing to crash the entire economy just in hopes of being able to blame Obama for it.

If the Dems take WI back, that would be a good sign.

If we don't kick the GOP out of government, they'll just continue to be an anchor on the economy.
