Views of Tea Party Supporters in Congress Grow More Negative

More Americans now think that members of Congress who support the Tea Party are having a negative effect than said that in January, at the start of the new Congress.

I still do not understand how more people cannot have a negative view of them though and not think that they have affected us even more negatively. Before the 2010 elections, polls showed people were frustrated by gridlock in Washington which was basically all due to the repubs filibustering everything and opposing anything obama and the dems wanted to do, even when their proposals were originally Republican ideas! So what did our BRILLIANT voters do? They vote in people who are the definition of gridlock, who will not budge a nanometer on ANYTHING, who PRIDE themselves on NEVER compromising, and then these voters are SHOCKED when they see gridlock like never before in Washington? Why do people not understand that the tea party does not care if we default, they do not care if unemployment goes up to 20%, they do not care if seniors lose medicare or insurance companies deny people insurance, they do not care if everyone loses their pensions. If that is what people truly believe in, then yes, by all means vote for the tea party. Others though who may have been reactive in 2010, wake up! The tea party is nothing more than the same repubs who dragged this country down during the Bush years, simply rebranded as the "tea party" and now that there is a dem prez rather than a repub prez, all of the sudden being hyperaware that we are in debt. I hope people are waking up, I hope they open their eyes.
