Anyone see him interview Congressman Keith Ellison. He was tough on him which I agreed with.He was spot on by asking him when is your side going to go into the republicans districts and talk about the need for a jobs bill and make the case why they are against it.Tweety said the democrats have been playing defense to long

5. Dems are always on defense. Republicans attack, we react.
We allow Republicans to define us, repeating it over and over regardless of whether it is true until people come to believe it. The more Dems try and convince people it is a lie, the more they believe the lie.

We allow Republicans to define terms, then the terms of the debate, and then we finally allow them to control the debate.

Democrats want to fight by nice fair and square Marquis of Queensbury rules while Republicans do what they need to do to win.

How can it be a surprise when Democrats lose under all of the above situations?

6. Damn right. I've been saying this for some time!
I'm sick of being on the defense.

8. Should never have been playing defense to begin with - we got the ball...
...and should've run like hell with it!
