Terrific quote I just read on FB that I thought I'd share. Oddly, it's a favorite quote of a rethug. Go figure. I wonder which rethug he had in mind to attribute this to? :shrug:

There's plenty of room, the inker could even use a large typeface.

3. Teddy Roosevelt was the Progressive Party candidate for president in 1912.
If you were to actually read his biography, you would understand that he was a great reformer.

He was larger than life.

He got shot while campaigning, but still gave his speech.

The teddy bear was in fact named after TR.

I am still wondering when I have seen President Obama's face marred by dust, sweat or blood...

Was that when he was playing golf with the Repuke leadership, or afterwards when they were drinking beers together?

I suspect that TR would probably classify our current president as a one of those cold and timid souls who knows not victory nor defeat, because he doesn't really fight for things.

5. If ever
there was a man who was made to be POTUS it was Theodore Roosevelt. He thrived in the White House! Only Lincoln or Teddy could have turned me into a republican! We owe Teddy a huge debt for designating the Grand Canyon as a National Monument (Congress would not designate it as a National Park)! Just imagine if he had not done so!
