The obstruction is at an all time high ,STEALING the 2000 election did more damage than 8 yrs of Shrubunism ,it gave them the confidence to usurp our last check valve ,our say.

Looks like they're taking a "foul breath of the masses" approach to their impending defeat. The Democrats really only needed to solidly lock down one major issue that breaks 70%-30%, which the Republicans happily gave us in the tax cut compromise, because the only way to guarantee the expiration of those cuts is to reelect the President. All subsequent Republican-created crises and negotiations have attempted, without success, to reverse that agreement.
But with that safely in the bag, the Democrats have inexorably begun capturing all issues that divide along the same line. This week, for example, Republican hypocrisy will expose its actual position on job creation, to their further loss. In another month it will be something else.
In the meantime, the President has meticulously created a funding side-loop that Republicans cannot interfere with, and he's going to use that to start getting shit done. The Republicans don't really have any legal tools left in the box to respond, which frightens me a little.
And feel free to join my "I told you so" list by dropping a snide no-text one-liner in reply to me below. I'll be saying hi to all of you next November.
