Perry says needs federal funds to fight fires. But, but I |
|
thought Texas needs to secede and I heard that the glorified saint of your party, Ronald Reagan, said the scariest 10 words in the English language are: “I’m from the government, and I’m here to help you.” You stayed at your political event until well after the fires in Texas were raging and the local Austin station said at 4PM yesterday that "We are still waiting to hear from the governor." Yet, you said, once you were on air, "I’ll be real honest with you. I’m not paying any attention to politics right now. There’s plenty of time to take care of that." You made that statement in Bastrop late Monday where you were greeted with applause. In Austin, where the fires had started on Sunday while you played politics in S. Carolina, I think the response would have been different. So once again, you have shown yourself to be a liar, a hypocrite and an opportunist. In other words the perfect candidate for the corporation party.

Why should we be punished because he has endless amounts of money to win elections?

2. He hates Washington and should call on God |
|
to put out that fire. He is such a hypocrite, he makes me sick. Where is the Texas Guard? Why doesn't he call neighboring states and ask for help? First thing he does is call Washington? Fie on that pos. Sorry Texans that you "voted" in that piece of crap, but you did.

7. We need to make sure he gets no further in government. |
|
He works overtime to help oil and gas and their subsidiaries get what they want and need and bends over backwards to take programs and education from people. After all corporation are the backbone of his form of governing. The people are just tools to be used.

11. He scares the shit out of me. I'm in Texas, and |
|
I can't think of anyone who would make a WORSE president than Perry. I knew after Bush got elected that Perry would likely eventually be elected too though. :scared:
What blows my mind is the number of people we know that I thought would know how horrible he has been for Texas, yet have bought into the Fox hype & think he's so great. And some of these people voted for Obama because they thought Bush was awful. I'm tired of arguing with everyone that comes to my house over Perry.... I think I just need to print a handout, LOL

took baby bush seriously when he ran against Ann. But tons of money and Carl Rove did us in and we have gone downhill ever since.

Texas can't afford 21 more disasters to save Perry's ass. He also got out of DeMint's little gathering? How handy.

people who know what they were talking about. The last shouted question I heard at the press conference was, "Are you asking the federal government for help?" He said, "Yes." and left.

Tsk Tsk Mr. Perry.
Better to have 3 days of fasting and prayer and encourage your constituents to pull themselves up by their bootstraps.
