What's the alert density like around here? |
|
I co-adminned a rather smaller and less political forum for a year or so and was rather surprised at how many post reports for both good and ridiculous reasons we had to wade through on a daily basis. I've been curious about what that part of the admin experience is like for DU's admins, especially given how polarizing a lot of discussion on the site can be.
So yeah - about how many of them do you receive or act on in a given day or so? Does it tend to spike based on what's going on offsite (primary season, one big event or another in the news, etc)?

1. Yesterday we received alerts on 287 different posts. |
|
That's the number of *POSTS* not the number of alerts. The number of alerts would be more, because many posts receive multiple alerts.
Offhand, I do not know how many of those resulted in moderator action. There isn't an easy way to figure that out. It is fairly common for us to receive alerts which do not result in moderator action.
