What happened to the post questioning the phantom jobs in October's BLS data |
|
in the Economy forum?
Part of the title was "151,000 Phantom Jobs..."
There was some disagreement, but all I could see was links to articles, none of which broke any rules...?

1. Paul Craig Roberts is an extremely dubious source |
|
The mods usually lock threads involving his articles when they are aware of them.

2. Huh. Ok, though I would think most members here are smart enough to |

discern whether articles are true or not. Guess the other two articles by different authors showing the divergence in stats between ADP and the BLS might have been suspect as well, as well as some of the other murmers startintg to surface out there...
Reminds me of the preacher burning the Qur-an. They thought that was dubious too. Now virtual book burning?
Now I may not have donated as much as others, but I have done what I could, because there is value in this forum for bringing people together for a common cause, so perhaps I might make a suggestion? Perhaps the admins could put up a permitted list, so people would know what is "approved" at the highest levels so as not to promote perceived propaganda, and for some of us not to waste our time? Heck, maybe a loyalty pledge might bring some people into line as well?
Thanks for the quick reply.
