1. It has already been explained how districting can remove political bias. |

The fact that is not being done, shows they do not care about doing things the proper way, but only what can help secure some position of theirs.
There is no reason for districting to be used to help a political party, that is status quo using its influence only to help status quo.
Don't people understand that if any consolidation helps that consolidation, it leads to more consolidation? And only from the fact that consolidation exists.
It is like making money from money.
Or buying media to support bought media.
Or corporations buying lobbyist to support corporate control.
or any other consolidation, only supporting consolidation with the only method, being the use of consolidation
It creates cascade loops.

2. GOOD! If he hadn't, the Democrats would've lost another seat in the House |
|
and I, for one, would like to see Nancy Pelosi take the humongo gavel from Boner in Jan. 2013.
I'm still ambiguous about redistricting, especially after Delay did it in Texas, and lost the state for the Democrats for decades to come.

3. What Delay did in Tx. has been done in MANY states! That's one of the reasons Pubbies |
|
keep getting elected & reelected. I'd love to see judges state that districts will be set by the results of the censes taken every 10 years and nothing else.

4. Unfortunately, soon, Repubs can do it again, and with so many State legislatures |
|
under Repub majority, they can draw new districts, and possibly add more seats to the House as well.
At least, that's what I've heard. Scary thought.
