Not worried about national politics future for Gov. Christie and here's why...
How can this be stated politely....

Let's face it - in the era of visual politics and modern era politics, Gov. Christie's image of overall physical health probably prevents him from climbing any higher than a VP slot and probably not even that.

I'm not condemning overweight people, but visuals in politics greatly trumps substance and I don't see how he can do well in our continued reliance upon the visual medium in national politics.

And before anyone claims this is a bias against overweight people, it's not - it's about pragmatic politics at the national level and how powerful visuals are in American politics and what this says about America when it comes to substance vs the beautiful people when it comes to our national politics.

(See, if the Dems were smart, they'd make creepy McConnell front and center in imagery. He could scare the stink off a skunk).

...shake it up a little and ya have a winning combination if you include a witch and a half term idiot.

2. The trip to Disney World sealed the deal for Christie.
You can only imagine an opponent's commercial.

3. that is if his opponent has a spine
Personally I am hoping for Cory Booker (the man who shoveled people out himself) to run against him.
