The sad thing is this - Osama Bin Laden will be replaced by someone else |
|
Terrorism doesn't end, just gets new names.
But I am glad to see this guy finally caught. Perhaps if we focused on Afghanistan and skipped the whole thing with Iraq, this would have been solved years ago.
But then again Bush wouldn't be able to keep giving all those cushy no-bid contracts to his defense contractor buddies.
Anyhow, the guy is dead, let's wrap this thing up and get the heck out of there now.

2. The sad thing, the obvious thing and |

the thing that makes the whole cheering about it so stupid.

4. Maybe, though, it will be harder to keep those two theaters open. |
|
Maybe now, there can be a little more pressure to shut them down.

6. I keep thinking if we would have just focused on Afghanistan |
|
We had no reason to go into Iraq other than one dimwitted president's greed for Oil and payback.
I never had an issue with us going to Afghanistan, I knew we would have to go there to find bin Laden and stop the Taliban. But this war should have wrapped up about 5 years ago with Bin Laden found dead in a cave somewhere.
How many lives lost because we didn't have the right priorities so many years ago.

It's nothing more than symbolism.
