The comparison is weak as water. bin Laden didn't kill democracy to thunderous applause, that was Bush and he is quite safe and not far from power and influence as you might hope and pretend.

bin Laden isn't even Admiral Ozzel on my chart but rather a criminal leader trained by the Empire but now a rogue agent (up to his death).

It is good bin Laden can trouble us no more but you have blown up his actual importance by several orders of magnitude. This wasn't Hitler but a rouge criminal with delusions of grandeur pumped up by a man just as wicked or worse to be a boogie man to allow the rule of law and of common sense to go out the window, rendering our Constitution into "a gawddamn piece of paper".
