Am glad Bush is not getting anywhere near Obama.
But if I were President Bush, just for fun - I’d slip the
“MISSION ACCOMPLISHED” banner behind Obama and his
teleprompter.
Would make for a great Freeper Photoshop pic.
Would be a slick way to remind everyone that President Bush was the MAN when it came to the war on terror. No way anyone could associate ‘Mission Accomplished’ with anything Obama has tried to do.

Obama has a nasty habit of inviting peeps to events, having them in the front row, then savaging them live on camera...Pat Ryan, the Supremes, etc

Bush should stay as far away from the Joke in Chief as he can.

Obama just wanted Bush to attend to increase the numbers showing up and applauding. I am sure SEIU will put in a good show for Obama though...eye roll.

An "event at Ground Zero on Thursday" is typical narcissistic over-reach. The simple bastard just can't get enough limelight, especially given his minimal role in the successful mission.
Bush is smart to stay away. This will be an embarrassment.

I’m glad he turned him down. It would only add to Obama’s credibility.
