Bill Press only gets one hour 6-7 AM

Alex Bennett gets THREE hours 7-10 AM

Stephanie Miller is cut back to TWO hours and on one hour later, 10-12 Am :cry:

Ed remains 12-3 PM

Thom Hartmann remains 3-6 PM

Mark Thompson remains 6-9 PM

Mike Malloy is 9PM till I fall asleep shortly after. (usually)

Mike Feder is Saturday 5PM

He is a washed up old time personality who clearly detests Obama, but most of the show is ridiculous side talk with a sycophantic female staffer at least 50 years his junior, who thinks discussing anal sex or similar, makes her hip and his male sycophantic producer that sits there blowing smoke up Bennett's ass. He once had a hey day and I guess got an opportunity to interview John Lennon and other noteables. Though that would seemingly cement some Liberal Cred, he's got quite the bee up his "bonnet" re: Obama.

I haven't listened in several months as i was fed up. The only reason I ever listened is because on Mountain Time Zone, it was running in the late evening/overnight on the XM167 channel now renamed to sirius Left.

who who acts like everyone and everything is beneath him and he finds it all oh so boring. Today's Liberals and Progressives have nothing on what he used to stand for. Most days, he seems to just be phoning it in for the paycheck. Way too hard to listen to.

Since my sat. radio is in my bedroom, I usually only listen to early morning and late evening, (unless I am in the car), and love to wake up to Bill Press - he is smart, interesting, has good guests and callers, and is a delightful talk show host. Now he's only on ONE hour, and the despicable Alex Bennett has taken his place, moved from his late evening slot. I like to listen to Mike Malloy until I'm nearly asleep, but sometimes I leave it on later during Bennett's time. I usually switch off in anger. He's an old lech, misogynistic, vulgar; his political points are potshots and nonfactual, his conversation boring, few callers, no guests, :evilfrown: :evilfrown: :evilfrown: :evilfrown: :evilfrown: :evilfrown: :evilfrown: :evilfrown:

How can we get up a posse to get him OFF XM/SIRIUS??????? I have actually written XM in protest about him, with no response. I don't know what type of person would even like him. He seems to have a background and acquaintance with the show world from long ago. He doesn't fit on the Left channel.

But, thus far, I haven't been asked to participate in anything remotely targeted towards programming. I suppose we could take up a petition, but it is hard--beyond DU-- to get to any major numbers of liberal/progressives subscribing to XM-Sirius.

I expect to hear someone smarter than me when I tune in to a talk show. Believe me that shouldn't be difficult to find. It's not that he formats his show to be strictly entertaining. He tries to be intellectual every now and then and totally fails.

And I hate to be cruel, I really do. But they seemed to have chosen his co-host specifically on the criteria that she wouldn't outshine the host. It worked. And that fake laugh of hers. I'm sorry for sounding so cruel but maybe radio just isn't the place for her (nor him for that matter).

I listen to Bill Press too which is how I found out about Bennett this morning, and then while stuck in traffic I hoped Steph was on , and still Bennett.

43. Yes... it is just a concurrent stream from MSNBC...

though if you listen to the radio and watch tv, they are pretty much in sync. If you stream MSNBC channel on XM internet (or on a cellular phone app) they are delayed by about 5-10 minutes.

I can't count on Sirius to let me know when they move the only left channel on the service that has already been stripped of The Young Turks, Stephanie Miller, and most of its liberal programming.

I don't know why I pay that bill sometimes if not for Underground Garage, the music channel that has had the sound bitrate downgraded to less than YouTube quality.

If you look at the channel lineup guide, it shows (for instance) channel 127 is Sirius-XM Left but then they show a Sirius-XM Left PLUS on channel 853. What the heck is that?
