We watched that on TV. The navy ship...Sister Caroline...Uncle Teddy...and others. John Kennedy Jr., Wife Carolyn, and her sister Lauren, all were shown going down the chutes of the navy ship into the water, as the family requested. If this type of funeral was appropriate for National TV and respectful enough for JFK, Jr., SURELY the feds have a pic of this "funeral" for Osama?
So why not even a glimpse of this act??

And, not a word about the most asked question, which always was about Osama's health status? Not a peep? How were the kidneys???? Machine around????? Was he too frail to be "masterminding" anything anymore? All of the questions they would bring up when they talked about Osama and his health, and not one word about his condition, regarding all the bits of intelligence from the past?
If he's healthy, not using dialysis, and otherwise fine, than that alone is VERY BIG news in regard to past intelligence. Not a word about this topic either. Don't ya think it's strange?

2. I personally thought they should have held on to Saddam for awhile
longer to drill all the information they could out of him. Sometimes, the govt thinks killing someone is better for national security than bringing them in alive or letting them live. It is a fact.

4. I don't think they had a choice. If you'll recall Hussein's execution was an...
...absolute sham, presided over by people who were too afriad to show their faces and had to wear ski masks- this was everybody except for like 1-2 people. And then even they were pixelated out for rebroadcast on Iraqi TV.

Then the chanting for Muqtada Al-Sadr by his executioners, showing that nobody had control of anything- that it was as execution by Al-Sadr and not the U.S. or whatever was limping along as the provisional government at the time.

I watched it again recently, it's even more chaotic than I recalled.

3. No, don't think it's strange at all. Nor some kind of conspiracy / cover up.
Sometimes things are just what they are.

5. JFK, Jr. and his two passengers were cremated.
Their ashes were scattered from the USS Briscoe off the coast of Martha's Vineyard. No aircraft or boats were allowed to be near.

Kennedy, Bessettes Given Shipboard Rites

By Barton Gellman and Pamela Ferdinand
Washington Post Staff Writers
Friday, July 23, 1999; Page A1

MARTHA'S VINEYARD, Mass., July 22 – In an ancient naval ritual adapted to private grief, the Kennedys and Bessettes entombed three loved ones today in the plot of sea that swallowed their fallen aircraft six nights ago.

From the fantail of the destroyer USS Briscoe, anchored between Martha's Vineyard and the Kennedy clan's redoubt at Hyannis Port, an officer in dress whites carried three brass urns of ashes, one by one, down a ladder to the wind-chopped water line. There on a small steel platform, their next of kin scattered the ashes of John F. Kennedy Jr.; his wife, Carolyn Bessette; and her sister Lauren Bessette into the waves.

9. You bring up some interesting points especially abou the dialysis
I remember that supposedly he was having it because of his kidneys failing. It could be that was never true just false info. Wonder though if it was true if he had a kidney transplant. I suppose it's not important in the overall scheme of things it just kind of leaves me wondering. I'm not naturally curious.
