I think we SHOULD credit George W. for his efforts in going after OBL.
I think we should give him the exact same credit that he gave to Bill Clinton for HIS efforts in going after OBL.

3. Alternatively
If Dubya hadn't done his standard incompetent job, bin Laden might not still have been at large.

4. Well that is really not a fair comparison as Clinton had the GOP blocking him from doing more then
sending 2 missiles after OBL. Chimp on the other hand played the decider and decided all by his little self to end all efforts on getting OBL at any costs because the WMD's in Iraq were mostest importantist then getting his hands on OBL.

5. Right.
Karl Rove, Bush and friends are just mad because now Republicans can't campaign on the "Where's Bin Laden? Why didn't Obama get him?" and the, "But, Bush kept us safe" stuff.

Their plans for Medicare and Social Security aren't selling. And they aren't seriously thinking about balancing the budget -- because they lose their campaign funders if they raise taxes -- which they have to do to come anywhere near balancing the budget.

And the jobs situation has not significantly improved since Republicans took the House and Senate. What will they do?

7. I'm sorry we're even discussing that
POS this much. Ed showed a clip of el bushco talking about Bin Laden on a golf course and then turns and says, 'watch this drive.' I want to hit him with the club.

9. George was reading to children at school.

What frustrates me was that he was dumb founded for 7 minutes, when told. A General said "If I saw that fear in my people like I saw in his eyes, I would have dismissed them" Or something like that.

10. He does deserve credit though
Obama couldn't have got him if Bush had actually wanted to.

13. OBL woudn't have been free for Obama to take down
if Bush had already done it ... so it could be said Bush made it possible for Obama to do what he (Bush) had left undone.

15. He should get credit in exact proportion to whatever his actual efforts were.
But, then, I really don't think about that, all that much.
