2. That's interesting, thanks.
:hi:
I knew they weren't especially enamored with Paul because he's anti-war, but thought that they would probably go with whomever most vehemently disparaged Obama.

3. Wow and they say they aren't racist.
Here is a direct quote about one of the candidates: "Ok, he generally has the right policy positions. But does he have specifics? He does have the right approach - you have to identify a problem first, etc. But I don’t want to like him mainly because he’s black."

:wow: He's doing it wrong; he's supposed to preface that with, "I'm not racist, but....."

21. He's only stating a truth based on a lot of what gets said here...
or implied, anyway...

Which is that if you're a Republican and you don't like a black person...for whatever reason...then you're a racist.

Republicans who look at a black person cross-eyed are racists.

Make a comment that can even be the least bit questionable, and you're a raging racist.

Based on a lot of what I see here, if you're a Republican, you're not allowed to dislike a black person because it will all boil down to "racism".

I'm not sticking up for them, BTW. I just think hypocrisy sucks.

Ron Paul won it. He electrified the audience.

Isn't it generally conceded that Ron Paul's fans travel well? He didn't win the Frank Luntz focus group which went for Cain in a HUGH way.

14. The clip they got all hot and bothered about in the Luntz focus group was
Cain saying something to the effect of "Government needs to get out of the way of big business to create jobs...". They thought that line alone was brilliant! I hope he wins the nom because he is nothing but one GOP talking point after another. Short, to the point answers with no substance. Simple minded people always love short to the point answers because anything too complicated confuses them.

10. I read in Salon that the real contenders didn't feel they needed to participate.
The real contenders being Huck and Mitts.

you don't want to answer, so you're exactly right.
