Source: Broadcasting & Cable

One week after it landed the first interview with President Obama after the killing of Osama bin Laden, CBS News will host a special town hall meeting on the economy with the President on May 11.

Face the Nation anchor Bob Schieffer and The Early Show co-anchor Erica Hill will host the event, to be held before a live audience at the Newseum in Washington, D.C.

The one-hour town hall will air on May 12 during the 8 a.m. hour on The Early Show. Excerpts will also be broadcast on the CBS Evening News With Katie Couric on May 11 and on Face the Nation on May 15.

2. Sure....
Obama is actually a dictator in disguise and can order companies not to outsource,
and can proclaim that all corporations are to shut down their overseas operations
all by his lonesome via dictatorial-executive fiat within the next 24 hours!

Really?

Not, not really. :eyes:

5. And what has he done to protect US workers? Nothing.
His base is Wall Street, not Main Street and not US workers.

6. Please don't let facts get in the way of your tirade
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/obameter/

Or if you are too lazy to check your facts here are a few tid-bits;

Ended the Great Recession, health care reform, Wall Street reform, student loan reform, "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" repeal, New START, the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, the biggest overhaul of our food-safety laws in 70 years, new regulation of the credit card industry, new regulation of the tobacco industry, a national service bill, expanded stem-cell research, the Hate Crimes Prevention Act, net neutrality, the most sweeping land-protection act in 15 years, health care for 9/11 rescue workers, and the confirmation of two Supreme Court justices.

Oh, and he killed Osama bin Laden.

3. Good. Guess he got tired of being talked over after the first 2 minutes
whenever he speaks about the economy.

:thumbsup:
