Obama staff calls Justin Bieber to arrange meeting with 9/11 victim’s daughter
Source: ABC News via Raw Story

ABC News has confirmed that President Obama asked the White House staff to call teen idol Justin Bieber last week, asking the singer to meet with 14-year-old Payton Wall, who lost her father on 9/11.

Wall, who was four years old on the day of the attacks, was the daughter of a Cantor Fitzgerald executive. According to ABC, Payton's father called home before he died and said, "Payton I love you and I will always be watching over you".

President Obama met the girl at a ceremony at Ground Zero commemorating the death of Osama bin Laden.

Celebrity gossip site TMZ, which was first to report the story, described Bieber as being "super excited" about the call, saying that the singer's publicists are trying to arrange a meeting later this year when he returns from his current tour.
