LATEST POSTS

The Vista car-alarm company once owned by Congressman Darrell Issa was paying about half the required tariffs on certain parts it imported from China for years and paid an estimated $2.5 million in back duties earlier this year to rectify the situation.

Issa no longer owns DEI Holdings Inc., although he is still on the board of the company, which is being sold to Boston-based Charlesbank Capital Partners for $285 million in cash.

1. Who's overseeing the overseers?
He makes a big deal about rooting out corruption and waste, but as usual looks beyond his neighborhood. Darrel Issa is nothing but trouble and would to go into the history books as the successor to Ken Starr. That his hands are dirty is so typical.

3. I think I've figured the Republicans out...

If they are screaming over suspected sex crimes on the Democrats, check their zippers.

If they are accusing Democrats of financial crimes/fraud, check their bank accounts.

Even if the Democrats aren't guilty, they have planted the seed that they are all crooks so they have company.

Granted, our party isn't pure, but they have the Republicans beat by a long shot.

4. The Man Has a Record of Criminal Acitivities
that go way back. Car theft, illegal weapons, mysterious fire surrounding a failed company, insurance fraud, you name it.

This was the man who called 9/11 a simple plane crash and who like his scumbag co- republican Boehner wept when he realized Arnold, and not him (Darell) would get the california governorship. It is so thoroughly amazing a man like this could get to the place he's at. :puke:

5. Rolling Stone Magazine did a great expose' on him.
They went into the part of his life when he earned his millions before entering public office. I don't know he can possibly have been electable if that information was available to the voters.

Since very few people know of his likely arson, car thsft, and shady business dealings even today, it was probably buried in Terri Schiavo or Natalie Holloway stories at the time of his campaign and he slid through on his friendly smile and handshake. I hope Californians in his district don't make that mistake again. That this man's eye is the judging factor in rooting out waste and corruption in the Obama administration is ironic at the least, and even laughable to most.
