Damn! I have to work on Rapture Day!
Anyone else have to work on Rapture Day?

I mean, what happens when the boss notices you're gone? Will you be written-up? Fired?

Why couldn't Rapture Day have been made into a three-day weekend? That would've given us a chance to relax a little, maybe a little barbecue party, some beer...

2. Bummer! I'm going to a party!
My sister decided to throw a party that day before she heard about The Rapture (TM).

I'm discussing party decorations right now... sets of clothing, shoes, undies, hats, purses... in piles leading to the door... couple more sets in the patio at the tiki bar... maybe a spilled cup of beer... the rest of us heathens will be there live:D

I see a Goodwill shopping mission in my future!

9. I just thought of something...
what if some people get raptured but God discovers he's made a mistake?

Does he send the wrongly-raptured back to earth? Do they go to Purgatory and sit in the "green room" till God decides what to do with them?

If they're sent back to earth, will they end up like 9000 miles away from where they got raptured?

Oh no!!!!!

13. That could get complicated.
To a guy who owns the universe, 9000 miles is probably no big deal. Get your American Express card attached to your belly button piercing just in case.

5. Looking at it another way...you might NOT have to work!
You could be standing there doing your job and -- poof -- you're raptured. But you might need a note from God or the boss could be pissed.

8. And long does this Rapture take?
Will we have some kind of break while Rapturing? A few minutes for a smoke and coffee perhaps?

6. Wow, I sure hope no nuclear plant workers get raptured.
Or for that matter, airline pilots in flight. In fact, if an airline pilot feels at risk of being raptured, said pilot should be prevented from flying that day.

;-)
